Meet our team!

Jz Lee, CFMG

Grooming Manager

Jz is our lead groomer and manager. They specialize specifically in cats and their training is through the National Cat Groomers Institute. They are fully certified with a CFMG title (Certified Feline Master Groomer). Jz is also a member of the National Cat Groomers Association and International Pet Boarding and Sitting Alliance (IBPSA).

Jz is certified in both cat and dog CPR and first aid, and has taken several safety courses as well as over 40 hours in cat specific handling techniques courses. Jz enjoys further research and learning in the pet field in general, and  loves opportunities to travel to conferences or cat shows for continued education.

Jz routinely has multiple fosters at a time. And works  with local rescues to foster and house young mother cats and their litters.  Jz volunteers for local shelter grooming and assists with sedated grooms at veterinarian clinics around town on an as needed basis.

Justin, CFMG  in training

Care Manager & Tech Specialist

Justin is our Team leader in regards to pet sitting arrangements. He specializes in logistics of arranging any pet sitting appointments. He also runs and maintains our booking software (ok pretty much all things technology here he runs!) And allows you guys the ability to do online booking and invoices.

He is well trained as a grooming assistant and can do most grooming packages that we offer here as well.  He does his grooming to an expert level and we are encouraging him to also pursue his CFMG through the National Cat Groomers Institute.

He also actively fosters cats in his home but has taken a hiatus for a while. Ironically, he's allergic to cats, but still maintains his affectionate disposition towards them! He is well versed in information on how cat grooming aids people with cat specific allergies!

What education and or certifications does this groomer have? or are pursing currently?
While grooming isn't necessarily a regulated field requiring a degree to get into... it is a field that allows you to see a wide variety of talents and skills. Since there are no licensing requirements it is imperative that owners take it in their own hands to research who they are trusting their kitty with!
