Dental Products
Dental products are a surprisingly tough topic to give recommendations for. It seems there's a wide variety out there and a lot of opinions as well. So who do you trust?
We try and source our recommendations through the VOHC (Veterinary Oral Health Council) whenever possible.
Unfortunately the list available to most consumers is mostly based on dogs, so you have to do some super detective work for cats. Below are the common product types and recommendations in each category to help you choose how best to target your felines dental care needs.

At the time of this article, no one brush type has been studied to determine application benefits. That said, we want to encourage owners to utilize the tool choice that they will consistently use, as getting the toothpaste in the mouth is the most critical part, second to that teaching cooperative care brushing techniques, Which can be done with any of the below styles.

Diets & Treats:
We will split this section into two recommendation list as well. Diets are a very wide and varied subject. We do not endorse any one specific brand. So on this list we will be recommending only VOHC accepted foods that have already received approval. This is NOT an all inclusive list nor our only recommendations. Diets should be chosen carefully and be a complete balance of your cats needs. Part of that need is hydrated food, the kibbles listed are with the exclusive suggestion of only using this as a ground/rehydrated kibble. Otherwise we suggest wet foods!
